Chris Brown is the proud father of a 9-month-old baby girl
Brown’s baby mama has been identified as former Texas model Nia Gonzalez, although initially reports stated her name was Nia Riley.
According to several reports, Gonzalez, 31, and Brown, 25, have been friends for many years before they allegedly had a baby girl less than a year ago.
Sources connected to both Nia and Chris tell us they are on very good terms — however they’re not together romantically. We’re told 25-year-old Chris is happy about being a father.
It does not appear there is a formal child support order in place — and we do not know the nature of any informal terms of support.
As if that wasn’t crazy enough, an old Instagram photo from May 2013 shows Karrueche partying with Nia! Kid Red posted the snapshot of the ladies, which included Tran’s bestie Christina Milian, hanging out during a day party in Los Angeles and captioned it, “S/O them They always #STAYTRU !! @msblairr #SexiiNia @christinamilian @karrueche @karizma22.”
But that doesn’t mean these two are gal-pals. The source tells us that these two have been at the same pool parties but they are not friendly and don’t even consider themselves acquaintances.
Tran remains fairly mum on the topic, but did tweet something that caused waves on the web early this morning. “Listen. One can only take so much,” she wrote. “The best of luck to Chris and his family. No baby drama for me.”
