Lucknow witnessed a grand, prestigious, and intellectually vibrant celebration on Friday, 19 December 2025, with the successful conclusion of the Mega Book Launch, World Record Felicitation Ceremony, and Pratibha Shri Award – Season 2 at the International Bodh Shodh Sansthan, Lucknow. The high-profile programme, jointly organized by Lata Foundation and Blue Turtle Productions, brought together eminent personalities, achievers, academicians, social leaders, and distinguished guests from across India and Nepal, making it one of the most remarkable cultural and intellectual gatherings of the year.
The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Shri Pawan Singh Chauhan, Hon’ble Member of Legislative Council (MLC), Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh, whose presence added immense dignity to the occasion. The programme also witnessed the gracious presence of several Special Guests, including Shri Rati Shankar Tripathi, Chairman, Bhartendu Natya Academy; Shri Ganesh Chauhan, MLA, Sant Kabir Nagar; Ms. Kirti Ahuja, Bollywood Producer and Director; Justice Vishwanath; Shri Mukesh Pandey, Bollywood Producer and Director; Dr. Saba Khan, ICU Specialist; Shri Yogesh Mishra, Bollywood Director; Shri Ajai Verma, President, All India Newspaper Association; Ms. Nisha Singh, Actress; Shri Garvit Narang, PRO, Mumbai; Shri M. L. Mishra, President, Kisan Majdur Kalyan Seva Samiti; Dr. Mamta Rajpur, Social Activist and Uttar Pradesh Head, Exclusive World Records; and Dr. Anurag Saxena, President, Journalist Council of India and Chief Editor, Exclusive World Records. The presence of Shri Rakesh Singh, Director, International Bodh Shodh Sansthan, and Shri Suryakant Shukla, Former Director General of Police (DGP), further enhanced the stature and dignity of the programme.
The highlight of the event was the historic launch of 51 books authored by renowned writer Dr. Anita Sahgal ‘Vasundhara’. Written across diverse genres, the books reflect her extraordinary contribution to literature, education, and social thought. This exceptional literary feat earned her a prestigious world record for writing the maximum number of books in the shortest time, creating a new benchmark in contemporary Indian literature.
During the World Record Felicitation Ceremony, outstanding achievers were honoured under Exclusive World Records. Bharat Gaurav Dr. Anita Sahgal ‘Vasundhara’ from Lucknow was officially recognized for her record-breaking literary accomplishment. Miss Ariba Ayub Shaikh from Latur, Maharashtra, was honoured as the youngest child to recite 100 Articles of the Constitution of India at the age of six. In the honour category, Shri Surinder Aggarwal of Firozepur, Punjab, was recognized for honouring 350 ex-servicemen and 16 martyrs’ families on the occasion of Vijay Diwas, while Mr. Milan Gurung from Kathmandu, Nepal, was honoured for his remarkable contribution to healthcare systems, community health services, capacity building, and humanitarian initiatives.
Under the King’s Book of World Records, Dr. Anita Sahgal ‘Vasundhara’ received recognition in the Amazing Brilliance category, while Milan Gurung was conferred the Admirable Achiever title for his outstanding contribution to hospital administration and community health development.
The Pratibha Shri Award – Season 2, organized under the aegis of the Journalist Council of India, honoured exceptional talents from India and Nepal for excellence and dedication in various fields. The awardees included Dr. Anita Sahgal ‘Vasundhara’ (Lucknow), CA Dr. Mahesh Gour (Mumbai), Manmohan Mittal (Moga, Punjab), Dr. D. R. Upadhyay (Kathmandu, Nepal), Surinder Aggarwal (Firozepur, Punjab), Milan Gurung (Kathmandu, Nepal), Joginder Verma (Rohtak, Haryana), and Simran Aggarwal (Batala, Punjab). Additionally, the Asha Krishna Memorial Award, instituted in memory of Late Smt. Asha Devi and Late Smt. Krishna Devi, was conferred upon Dr. Anita Sahgal ‘Vasundhara’ and Surinder Aggarwal.
Earlier in the day, a special convocation session was organized under the banner of IIHSR University at the same venue, during which distinguished individuals were honoured for their exceptional contributions in the fields of social service, education, wellness, humanitarian work, literature, technology, and professional excellence. The awardees announced during this session included Sunibala Waikhom, Surinder Aggarwal, Harsh M. Kachalia, Simran Aggarwal, Muhammad Afzal Jameel, Manmohan Mittal, Milan Gurung, Joginder Verma, Dr. Dharma Raj Upadhyay, and Shaikh Asma Ayub.
Due to unavoidable reasons, Dr. Rajdeep Gupta, Nitish Goyal, Dr. Waikhom Roshni Devi, Dr. Mukesh Shah, Veerabhadra Majjagi, and Amaresh Majjagi could not attend the ceremony but were duly acknowledged.
The organizers stated that the programme stood as a powerful celebration of literature, excellence, social responsibility, and human achievement. By bringing together writers, world record holders, achievers, academicians, and dignitaries on a single platform, the event successfully reinforced Lucknow’s growing reputation as a centre of cultural and intellectual excellence.
