Honorable Chief Minister Shri Eknath Shinde assessed the preparations for the National Youth Festival to be held in Nashik.

Nashik: To evaluate the current planning for the five-day National Youth Festival in Nashik from January 12, Honorable Chief Minister Shri Eknath Shinde reviewed the preparations being made. Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will officially inaugurate the 27th National Youth Festival on January 12.

The Honorable Chief Minister visited Sadhugram, Tapovan, and Hanuman Nagar areas on Monday to take stock. Alongside the Honorable Chief Minister, Honorable Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Sanjay Bansode, Honorable Parent Minister Shri Dada Bhuse, and Panchayat Raj and Tourism Minister Shri Girish Mahajan also inspected the arrangements.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Monday reviewed the ongoing preparations for the 27th National Youth Festival (NYF) 2024 to be organised in Nashik from January 12 to 16 and said it will serve as a platform to showcase skills and talent by youngsters.

The festival, themed “Viksit Bharat 2047” signifies a developed nation by 2047. The birth anniversary of the country’s great philosopher and scholar, Swami Vivekananda, is celebrated on 12 January 2024.

Honorable Prime Minister Modi will conduct a road show before the inaugural session of the Youth Festival. The State government is preparing for the PM’s public appearance and road show.

The NYF will feature a Suvichar (good thoughts) competition, youth meetings and cultural programs to be held at Hanuman Nagar. Folk dances, individual folk songs and elocution competitions will also be held at the Mahatma Kalidas Kalamandir, while a photography competition will be held at the Mahatma Phule Kaladalan.  The Raosaheb Thorat Auditorium located on Gangapur Road will feature group folk songs and individual folk singing performances while the Udoji Maharaj Museum, Young Artist Camp, poster making and story writing contests will also be held at various other venues.
