B-day blessings! Katie Holmes took to Instagram on Monday, April 18, to send her girl, Suri Cruise, an extraordinary wish on her tenth birthday.
“So grateful for my favorite day of the year!!!!!!” Holmes, 37, wrote alongside an image of red and black paintbrush strokes. “Happy Birthday to my sweet angel Suri.”
As the stylish superstar scion turns one more year older, today additionally denote an entire decade of motherhood for Holmes. The Dawson’s Creek alum invited Suri with her now-ex–husband, Tom Cruise, in 2006.
Holmes is known only to go out for her only childs special day. As Us Weekly reported in April 2015, she held a cupcake-filled bash at NYC’s Gilded Lily for Suri’s ninth birthday.

Amid a December 2015 appearance on the Today show, the actress opened up about watching her daughter grow up.
My little one is very, very generous and very sensitive. So she’s always [saying], ‘Mom, let’s give my old toys to people who need it,'” Holmes gushed while speaking about Suri’s interest in philanthropy. “So we are always doing that.”
