THE BIRTH Of GDKP India GROSS DOMESTIC – KNOWLEDGE – PRODUCT OF INDIA

HISTORICAL ACHIEVEMENT OF MoSPI

GDKP India is the world’s first measurement of Knowledge produced, bought and sold in a country in the age of Internet and AI. We live in the society of Knowledge Information and MoSPIdecided to make first in the world  the calculation of Knowledge Wealth of Nation.

THE SCIENTIFIC DIRECTOR OF THE CENTER INVENTOR OF GDKP INDIA

The concept of GDKP was elaborated by Prof. Sulpasso and following an invitation by Indian Amb K. Fabian he came to India to propose the GDKP India model to Dr. Rajiv Kumar who was so excited on the idea that signed immediately an MOU. Later on, upon suggestion of Dr. Kumar, then VC of NITI Aayog, in 2020 the Indian Government appointed Prof. SUpasso, as inventor of the concept of GDKP and creator of GDKP India model. to be Director of GDKP India, but the explosion of Covid prevented Prof. Sulpasso from coming to Delhi.

In the meantime, Dr. Manju Gupta brilliant Dean of a major management institution and member of our team, organized many important conferences to keep GDKP India alive. Amb.  Balakrishna Shetty worked hard to give a final math formula to the model, and the two Ambassadors kept promoting it, but is was Ms. Manoranjana Gupta a top quality journalist, member of our team, and representative of Los Angeles Digital Center in India, who had the great merit to re-establish an operational contact between the Los Angeles Center and the Pahle Foundation, as well as between Prof. SUlpasso, and Dr. Rajiv Kumar.

THE SECRETARY OF MoSPI

DR. Saurabh Garg created a committee of high-level technicians, which met several times for the identification of “Preliminary” quantitative statistical data obtainable from the GDP.The aforementioned calculations are very useful but we have to be clear, they do not calculate GDKP India.

Dr. Saurabh Garg, Secretary of MoSPI stated that the framework for measuring GDKP India will not be limited to Prof. Sulpasso’s model but will use it as a starting point.  (From the minutes of the Brainstorming organized by MoSPI on 13th February 2025) …”And his reference is only obvious because Prof. Sulpasso has created first a concept of Wealth on Nation in terms of Knowledge, he created the GDKP India model, and was appointed by India Government to direct GDKP that could not be translated into action due to Covid.

FURTHER THANKS

A very special contribution must be recognized to Sri Amitabh Kant, then CEO of NITI Aayog who made a perfect presentation of Sulpasso’s model to NSC (National Statistical Commission) key Indian body overseeing and advising on national statistics obtaining the full green light for Sulpasso’s model implementation to GDKP India.

But there are others relevant contribution.

Dr. Rama Kamaraju, intelligent and useful until he was sustaining Prof. Sulpasso work

Sri. Ashish Kumar, former DG of CSO, who made some quantitative test

Dr Arvind Gupta, the Director of the Vivekananda International Foundation, New Delhi who made the first conference

Q&A SESSIONS on GDKP India, Just for Media

GDKP is such an historical theoretical landmark in the notion of Wealth of Nation, and it so important for the future of India that the Center of India GDKP born in Bangalore has decided to organize a Q&A course open EXCLUSIVELY to the media.

There are 5 critical Q&A sections identified by themes and basic abstracts. They will bear this out the road of making GDKP India the highest in the world.

When Q&A sessions start (next July 24th) Journalists can ask direct questions by EMAILS to

Prof. Umberto Sulpasso, author of GDKP concept and creator of first GDKP India model regarding technical problems

[email protected]

Prof. Jeffrey Cole, Director of Center for Digital Future, Annenberg School of University of Southern California, Los Angeles, where the model was first elaborated, for his international world research on Digital Media in Internet and AI time

[email protected]

Dr. Hari Krishna Maram, CEO of Center of GDKP India in Bangalore, the first GDKP center in the world, for implementation to business relation and software issues

[email protected]

When they receive an individual answer they can quote in their newspaper or on TV. However, the following Wednesday of each session they will find a global summary of answers for all questions.

Given the large number of participating potentials that emerged from the first informal contacts, no more than two journalists from each newspaper or TV network will be able to subscribe at each section. They can be different for specific session.

In the subsequent sessions there will be other emails of earlier qualified contributors of GDKP India.

First Q&A sessions just for media

July 24th

Death of GDP and birth of GDKP India

ESSENCE.

GDP is the oldest measure of the richness of the nations. It reflects the Industrial revolution of a society, therefore is focused on production of material goods. Moving from England to USA the industrial revolution , GDP has become the most popular index in the world.

DEATH OF GDP, GOING TOWARDS THE 6th Mass extinction, (UN)

The old model of economy on which GDP is based is of 3 elements

1. Getting all raw material at the lowest price with all tools, including war.

2. Getting lowest paid labor applied to the production wherever that was available

3. Setting standard mass goods the same everywhere in the world.

Crithcshave been disproportionately increased over time, to the point that UN has even declared that it could be a danger to the survival of humanity and provoke the 6th mass extinction of life.

We provide the link to Robert Kennedy’s wonderful speech sixty years ago, which first criticized GDP as a measure of a nation’s wealth and fully identified the reasons for its danger. Over the past sixty years, efforts to improve GDP have increased, including a OECD report of top economists,  but no alternative solution was provided.

Second Q&A session just for media

JULY 31th

Knowledge war USA vs CHINA: INDIA THE THIRD ACTOR?

 ESSENCE

there is fear of a third world war for the disastrous effects for humanity but a third world war, between the USA and China is in fact underway: that on knowledge. USA with Internet and AI changed the K notion of the world in mass information, and the world economy, politics and social relations, including security  are changed forever. GDKP Model reflects this change. But Xi Jinping  said that the China wants to be the world leader of knowledge. China’s investments in its 14th Five-Year Plan (2021–2025), allocated hundreds of billions of yuan to innovation and technological development.China’s overall investment in R&D reached over 2.2 trillion yuan (340 billion USD) in 2022, representing about 2.5% of its GD to promote physical infrastructure to promote selling of its goods. USA obviously defends its present overwhelming knowledge leadership, and just to make an example in the USA nuclear power plants are constituted just to provide energy to AI.

Can India be the third actor in this war on knowledge? It is only matter of $ or there are other roads as those explored by the GDKP India model? The GDKP Model explores the full road to Knowledge world role of India.

Third Q&A session, just for media

AUGUST 7TH

Modeling Knowledge Structure of India through GDKP

ESSENCE:  India needs a discontinuity factor

In 1958 GDP of China and that of India were almost the same, the difference accounted for few millions of USD.

In 2023 China’s GDP was of  $17.73 trillion and that of India was $3.73 trillion.  A chasm has been dug. And even with higher growth trends, in a decade, just the increase in China’s GDP alone will equal India’s entire GDP. This means that if China were to devote that year just “the difference” of GDP to developing security, India’s entire GDP should be used to break even. Naturally, the situation is more complex; numbers don’t tell the whole story, but it’s clear that a GDKP India based just on past GDP statistics condemn India to trail forever.

GDKP India must be built around a discontinuity factor. THE MOON OF MODI

The situation INDIA- CHINA has a very important parallel with the space race between the US and the USSR. In 1957, the year of the Sputnik launch, US politicians discovered with dismay that the USSR was far ahead in the space races, which is worth remembering is not just a scientific comparison, but also a military one. In subsequent years, this Soviet advantage increased. Trends, as in India’s case, were not enough to close the gap; a “discontinuity factor” was needed.

On September 12, 1957, Kennedy communicated to the United States Congress that a man would go to the moon and returned safely. That decision triggered a new policy in knowledge. All researchers were rounded up. Their salaries were doubled, all science-related research was unified under NASA. Man went to the moon. But the American economy changed forever.

The knowledge revolution produced the information society that characterizes the planet. Knowledge was the discontinuity factor that overturned the US-USSR relationship in the space race.

To enter the K world race, India does not need statistics on GDP but a total new development model to apply to society. India needs a discontinuity factor explained in GDKP Model

Knowledge discontinuity factor.

The pillars of GDKP India are, IPKM (india Production KNOWELEGE Matrix) IKUS (india knowledge User Marix) Index of cost of learning (by rural or urban area, by age, by sex)

IKPM is mainly useful for public budgeting

IKUM, will be used for capital investment choices

Index of cost of learning, for social policies

August 13th  there will be a full Synthetic Answer to all questions.

Fourth Q&A session, just for media

AUGUST 14TH

GDKP India, Will and Representation

Aesthetics, ethics, metaphysics, culture, tradition, religion, education, sport, health, entertainment

ESSENCE : NOT STATISTICS ON THE PAST GDP BUT A TOTALLY NEW KNOWLEDGE MODEL

India has one of the most extraordinary reserves of knowledge in the world. Its sacred books, the Vedas, mean knowledge. But just browse through the orthodox philosophical texts (the six philosophies) and the non-orthodox ones (which fail to recognize and trace the origin of knowledge back to the Vedas) and you discover that in India the human mind has developed the most extraordinary knowledge  culture.

In addition, parallel to these extraordinary developments has been a beautiful growth of traditions and local cultures, which demonstrate the nation’s immense wealth of knowledge, enriched by religious values. And a prime example is the extraordinary publishing house Motilal, by far the best of the world in those fields.

All this knowledge, however, does not translate into national wealth because the Western economic models underlying GDP do not consider them. It is worth remembering that GDP is the fruit of the English industrial revolution that spread to the USA. The ingenious model of Kutznez, its inventor, focused on the production of material goods, and on the other hand, the the entire USA society was characterized by production of material goods.

Now, according to the UN, this vision of national wealth GDP based on material goods is leading the human race to its sixth mass extinction but no soltions have been found.

First to offer and alternative is the Indian GDKP Model called Will and Representation because it aims to recover cultural values of exceptional importance for India. Aesthetics, ethics, metaphysics, culture, traditions, religions, sport, education, but also entertainment, are the foundation of the GDKP Model that India needs to build that indispensable “discontinuity factor.

GDKP India model for the first time includes in the Wealth of India treasuries of its history and most valuable knowledge items. Please notice just statistical tools are not able to account for that which to borrow a statement made by Robert Kennedy when he first strongly criticized GDP said, “GDP doesn’t count every thing make worth living in America and that is true everywhere”

AUGUST 20th there will be a full Synthetic Answer to all questions.

Fifth Q&A session, just for media

AUGUST 21st

Making GDKP India, the highest of the world

GDKP INDIA Goals.

10 millions scientists and 150 millions technicians, top international Financial Market, higher Stock Exchange, triple K index growth to add to triple A risk. Here GDKP suggestions to make India the highest GDKP in the world. Four goals to get the highest GDKP.

TOOLS

1. 100% Digital Literacy in 3 years.

2. IDEA (Indian Digital Education Agency) of all Indian Knowledge made available in digital form.

3. GDKP India basis of Knowledge Silk Road, birth and promostion of a bridge world knowledge from Bangalore to Silicon valley extended to alla developing countires

4. India Knowledge Rupee, to get common people and even foreigners part of new K society

ESSENCE.

There is another very important difference that has emerged between India and China. In 1958, the illiteracy rate in India and China was similar, standing at around 75%. This figure is questionable in its precise quantification, but generally reliable.

In 2023, the Indian illiteracy rate was 25%, while the Chinese rate was practically 0%. Here, the GDKP Model points the way forward. In addition to the nation’s extraordinary reserve of knowledge to be brought to the surface FULL DIGITAL LITERACY IN 3 YEARS

MOREOVER

India has a potential population of over a billion individuals accessing the Internet and AI, which is more than double the ENTIRE US population, more than twice the population of the 27 EU countries. It is essential that this factor enters the GDKP India in three aspects: users, teachers, and knowledge produced. Merely statistics elaboration do not account for that. And tHey do not account for the third and last element of GDKP MODEL, the velocity of circularion of K is

THREE PILLARS OF GDKP MODEL Multiplier of GDP

Totally New Knwledge items (there are 600 new Ki). Mass of people getting to intenet and Velsocity of circulation od Ki. These are the 3 pilars of GDKP India model that can skyrocket its value to be the highest in the world. And from this GDKP we can move to the impact on GDP:

Please notice that K factor of India is the GDP/GDKP ratio. With proper GDKP, K can become the knowledge multiplier in GDP (selected Keynesia multiplier). Maximizing the K factor means creating a multiple impact on the country’s GDP saving energies and improving wealth distribytion. Techniques for realizing it are the of Cost of learning, budgeting, triple K and higher K in stock exchange.

GDKP for each State

GDKP India as a benchmark for the 28 GDKP of Individual States- The characteristics of the market model used are such that they allow an adaptation to each of the states always in the light of a comparison of the model generated by the company, but also in the respect of the main characteristics of the state.

The ultimate goal is therefore to have a national GDKP and 28 state GDKPs

AUGUST 28th there will be a full Synthetic Answer to all questions.
