It’s Wednesday morning in America, and the president is now off and running with some new tweets. At the break of day, Donald Trump (utilizing his @realdonaldtrump account) set his sights on Snoop Dogg, condemning the craftsman for showing up in a current music video and holding a firearm up to a jokester character obviously dressed as POTUS.
“Can you imagine what the outcry would be if @SnoopDogg, failing career and all, had aimed and fired the gun at President Obama? Jail time!”
The video that started the discussion was a remix of BadBadNotGood’s “Lavender” including Snoop Dogg and Kaytranada. The comedian themed music video includes an undeniable Trump spoof named Ronald Klump, a man in substantial jokester cosmetics and a suit (and one of Trump’s trademark, ludicrously long ties). At a certain point in the video, Snoop holds up a toy weapon at the fake Trump’s head that discharges a “blast!” pennant. The “Trump” comedian then spends whatever is left of the video canvassed in chains.
