New Delhi, October 07, 2026: On the occasion of the 122nd birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri, the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Memorial Trust organised a special Bhajan Sandhya at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Memorial in New Delhi. Renowned Bhajan Samrat Shri Anup Jalota captivated the audience with his soulful devotional performance, creating a deeply spiritual atmosphere.
The programme paid tribute to Shastri Ji’s simple life, dedication to the nation and enduring values. Earlier, a blood donation camp was also organised, where more than 100 people voluntarily donated blood. This was followed by a soulful presentation of popular bhajans by Shri Anup Jalota, whose melodious performance added a devotional and musical spirit to the evening.
Shri Anil Shastri, holding Trustee, Lal Bahadur Shastri National Memorial Trust, said, “The life of Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji continues to inspire us through his simplicity, honesty and dedication to the nation.
