Nicole Kidman spit out celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis’ sustenance Wednesday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

The 49-year-old Australian on-screen character scrutinized Laurentiis’ focaccia pizza as “a little tough”  amid a clumsy cooking section on the morning syndicated program.

“It’s a little tough,” she admitted after taking a bite. “I know I’m not supposed to criticize, but…”

De Laurentiis endeavored to show Kidman and DeGeneres how to make arancini balls and focaccia pizza. Kidman at first attempted to frame her arancini, provoking De Laurenttiis to scold, “Nicole, have you made meatballs or anything?”
